I enjoyed checking out each of your recipes to learn what each was.
I can’t wait to try one of these recipes! They all look so delicious I don’t know where to start.
So smantana is sour cream? They all look delicious. Are the Tocin similar to Rosti?
Reblogged this on Ace Food & Beverage News.

Happy birthday to your hometown!!All the recipes looks great.
What a great gathering of fantastic recipes! I find Scrijele very neat, as a dish like this is on my “to make” recipe list,
They all look so yummy!
Happy b’day to Bucovina. Lovely recipes.
Well i guess you know Gabi that I say the Bucovina is where I was reborn. I have been to every corner of Romania with the exception of the Danube delta and since I discovered the Bucovina in 1993 have been there every year but one. Wonderful people, wonderful landscapes, wonderful food. We do our best to replicate these and other Bucovinian recipes here in the UK but often we cannot match the fresh fruit and vegetables grown in the Romanian countryside and have nothing to match fragi collected on the mountain!
I am happy you like it here. It is a small heaven.
What a delicious spread!! Happy anniversary!
My grandmother grew up in Bucovina. I’m excited to try these recipes! I’ve only ever made sarmale (which I adore).
