Summer is finally here. After a few too long and too cold months summer decided to join us. So, let’s celebrate her warmth and beauty with some sweet and healthy drinks.
Smoothies or juices, but definitely fresh, summer drinks are a must every day. They will keep you hydrate and full of energy all day long.
For inspiration here are some of my favorite recipes:
- Lemon and strawberry water
- Citrus water
- Strawberry and banana smoothie
- Parsley juice
- Orange smoothie
- Honeydew melon smoothie
- Blackberry smoothie
- Raspberry milkshake
- Kiwi and banana smoothie
- Lilac smoothie
- Watermelon juice
- Healthy vegan green juice
Enjoy the summer! Have fun and be happy!

Parsley juice is a new one to me–I’ll definitely have to try it. And the lilac one looks delicious too. Have you ever put the lilac blossoms in it? I’ve been infusing sugar with lilacs and made some lilac cream (https://twiceastasty.com/2017/06/17/birthday-desserts/#cream) for a party last weekend. It was so tasty! But the flavor is subtle, so it might get lost in the berry smoothie…

Yum! 😍😍😍
Refreshing ! Gonna try all of these to beat Tokyo summers !
Enjoy!
Summer goals will definitely be trying the recipes soon!
I love your ide of a lilac smoothie – fresh berries and milk sound luscious! I may try that with a tablespoon of overnight oats blended in, and if so I’ll let you know how it turns out!
It will be great. Enjoy!
Beautiful food pics!
Thank you
Beautiful post. We also do many of these.
I love parsley water, and watermelon water.
My body feels especially happy after drinking them.
People look at me strange when I ask if they would like some Watermelon water. 🙂
However I have never tried your Lilac, Honeydew, or your Vegan green.
Hmmm, I will ponder them. 🙂

Omaeagle.
Oh, I see now, your Lilac smoothie, does not contain Lilacs, you are referring to its color.
Yes we have done blueberries and raspberries, we grow them in our yard. 🙂
That is if we have any left after the Birds (we do share), or after our picking and eating. 😀
Looking forward to your future posts. -OmEagle

Congratulations on being new mom! I love healthy cooking you can find my cookbook 🙂 on my website http://cmahoneyfnp.wixsite.com/claireosullivan and the blog there has some recipes from the book. That’s the only one so far to be published… praying!
Love your photos! Great site.
Little ones require more fats than adults do, so if you swap out one item (fatty) for your little one, that would do. Depends too on how old your babe is. But you already know this, I’m certain.
Thank you. I will check your cookbook
Thank you 🙂 it’s small but mighty … lots of tips and every recipe can be altered to a diet/lifestyle near you. From vegans to diabetics and great for baby weight for those who struggle with that. I just struggled with being overweight, period.
That is very good
