Citrus water

Citrus juice

Water is boring.  So why not improve it’s taste with fresh fruits.  By adding a few slices of fruit, or vegetable, into our daily intake of water, we can benefit the mind, body, and soul at the same time. You will drink more water, because water will be fun and tasty for all the family.

Ingredients:

  • 1 orange
  • 1 grapefruit
  • 1 lemon
  • 500 ml water (mineral or still)
  • mint leaves for decoration

Directions:

Peel the grapefruit, orange and lemon. Cut into sections. Feed through the juicer, add water and serve it.  If you needed to be cold leave it in the fridge for 2 or 3 hours.

  1. You know, this seems so simple, but if I have not seen it, I would’ve never thought of it!
I hate water, it’s beyond boring, and this can coerce me into it!

  2. This sounds so refreshing. I am very conscious of drinking tons of water and feel guilty when I think like you that water is boring. This definitely spices it up.
