My top soup recipes

I love soup. Clear or thick, vegetable or with meat, hot or cold, sweet or sour, soup could be one of the best dish at the table. We serve the soup after appetizers. I made a list with my favorite soups.

  1. Lobster bisque – Bisque is a French soup very smooth, creamy and highly seasoned, classically based on a strained broth of crustaceans.

  1. Pumpkin soup with turmeric – One of the best fall soups in the world you really have to try.

  1. Sweet hot and spicy soup – You can make a great sweet soup with sweet potato. Add chili and you have a treat.

  1. Cold cream red lentils soup with turmeric – Go with a cold refreshing soup in the summer.

  1. Gorgeous Pics – lovely recipes, that Lobster Bisque looks amazing 😍
one of my favourites is Butternut Squash and ginger, also Tomato and Red Pepper makes a regular appearance 😊

  2. Two of my favourites are mentioned in the comments: tomato and red pepper (I like to add cinnamon) and Indian dal. On the other hand I often make soup with leftovers, anything – both cooked and raw – and it’s not difficult to make those delicious. Lobster bisque is indeed delicious but I’d rather eat the lobster 😜

  3. All of these look SOOO yummy. While I adore lobster bisque, I’m also a big fan of its partner the Shrimp Bisque. You should try it out if you haven’t already! I want to try your cold cream red lentils soup with turmeric 🙂

  4. I love soup anytime, too. Cheese and broccoli, yum! I have a favorite taco soup I make. It has butternut squash added to it for a delightful flavor. Beautiful photos.

  5. Yes, they do look delicious.

My husband would like soup every day. In fact, in his country in Europe he ate soup almost every day. I should really make more soup.

  6. I’ve made shrimp bisque so I imagine the lobster version is even more delicious. I enjoy almost all soups other than the cold versions like gazpacho. Vichyssoise is great hot. 🙂

  7. Love your pictures. I’m a very poor soup person but am always looking for new recipes. One of my favorites is Seafood Chowder

  8. Hi, your soup recipes look great. The lentil soup is interesting. You can try adding the turmeric and garlic when you cook the lentils. It gives you a nice aroma and makes you hungry even while cooking! BTW, I’m glad that you liked my post on braised bean curd. Thank you!

  9. Will be trying the lobster bisque soon!! My go to soups are chicken noodle, tortilla, and broccoli cheese!, and clam chowder! All comforting and some of my husband’s favorites!
