Avocado-Kefir dip

Avocado-kefir dip

I love a good guacamole and a good Tzatziki, so I tried something in between. Why not enjoying both dips in the same time? This dip is not fancy, not impressive and doesn’t take a lot of time. It is simple to make and easy to mix it with almost everything. You can use it as sauce for grilled meat, too.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
  • 1 cup kefir (yogurt)
  • 1 small cucumber peeled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Peeper
  • Garlic chopped – optional

Directions:

Place all the ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth. Serve it with bread, bread sticks, celery sticks, homemade Doritos, etc

You can keep it in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

Enjoy!

  1. I make something similar but add a teaspoon or so of finely grated onion and a couple shakes of hot pepper sauce. I agree with you that it’s creamy and delicious and can be used with breads, crackers and fresh vegetables. Keep cooking!
