Ice cream for kids

Ice cream with fruits

There is a way to make you feel special after a long hot summer day: make yourself an ice cream dessert with fresh fruits. If you don’t have them in your garden go and buy some. An ice cream is always enough to put a smile on your face.

My little one is not eating all the fruits so I need to get inventive. There are 2 ways he eats fruits I am giving to him: with ice cream or when he is with his friends.

For my ice cream and fruits dessert you can use any ice cream you like. For adults I recommend adding some rum or whiskey at the combination. Tequila goes great with lime ice cream and vanilla with whiskey or rum.

Ingredients:

  • Raspberries
  • Vanilla and strawberries ice cream
  • Peppermint leaves

Directions:

Set ice cream out to soften. Prepare the glasses. Lay a layer of fruits and add a scoop of ice cream. Repeat until the glass is full. Add the peppermint leaves.

For adults add the alcohol at the end. There is not a better way to relax at the end of the day. Add a book and you have the perfect recipe.

Enjoy!

  1. Great idea! I’ve heard of milkshakes with liquor before, though adding fresh fruit elevates the inspiration to a higher level. What a great way to celebrate the season’s glorious perfection.

Your recipe creates the memories that allows us to glide through winter, anticipating fruit’s return the next summer. You’ve created not just a delectable treat, but given us beautiful dreams as well!
