Green juice

GAB_8185_res_mix

I don’t know how your December was for you, but for me was an excessive food party. Don’t think that I partied all month long, just that I had more food than usually, actually more meat.

In the second day of this year I just felt so full. You know the feeling when you see food and all you want to do is run away from the table. The funny thing was that my family wanted to finish the leftovers from last year, but I couldn’t. I just had like lots of fresh and raw vegetables and lots of water.

One of my green juices that I had was this avocado kiwi juice, which is full with vitamins and minerals and also helped with my liver cleaning. I could feel my liver working properly.

Easy to make, this juice could be your morning booster. Gives you energy and keeps you away from the “goodies” from the kitchen when you had a food excess.

Ingredients:

  • 1 kiwi
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 1 banana
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseeds
  • 200 ml water

Directions:

Put everything in the blender. Mix it well. Drink it in the morning or keep it in the fridge for later. You can decorate it with fresh mint.

Enjoy!

  3. This sounds perfect! I was just running out of ideas for what to put in my smoothies. I will try this for breakfast tomorrow. I may try adding some almond milk too. Thanks for the recipe!

  4. Nothing like a good juice and session to cure whatever ails, especially when one is eating too much rich food (I know that feeling, it happened last night had to do a juice and session an hour later).

Never tried a combo like this though I’ve got all the ingredients except for a kiwi, I’ll be picking one up this week at the co-op when I get my eggs and water refilled.

    Thanks for the inspiration!!

  9. This looks great! I’m a big fan of green juices and an even bigger fan of avocado. My only problem is I always make too much and it ends up going bad in the fridge. How long does this one last for, given the avocado?

  10. Since we have been on the Keto diet, we were not looking forward to the holidays. Proud to say we came thru it with flying colours! Noy an ounce added…LOL. Your recipe looks wonderful, but with Keto only limes, lemons and some berries. Bananas are a no no… love your fotos.

  11. Looks delicious. Yesterday i did my grocery from Costco. They have something looks like your recipe. I bought it. I am lazy to cook. Your cooking is the best.:)
