With Chocolate baklava in my mind, I changed a little bit the recipe and I made a new dessert. I add peanut butter and I made another great easy dessert. You can make it with your kids for Christmas or any other time.
To get it very crispy I used olive oil only to brush the dessert at the end.
Ingredients:
- Phyllo dough
- Nutella
- Peanut butter
Directions:
Preheat oven to 220°C. Take 4 sheets of phyllo dough and put it on a baking sheet in a baking tray. Put a big layer of Nutella on top of the phyllo dough and on top of them add another 4 sheets. Add a layer of peanut butter on top.
Roll everything slowly not to break it and then put it in the oven. Bake it for 20 – 30 minutes. Check it from time to time so it doesn’t burn.
This extra ultra Baklava goes great with milk, as a dessert or replacing the peanut butter jelly sandwich.
Enjoy!
Nutella seems to be the only weakness of this dessert. In my opinion anything with Nutella is weak, as Nutella is so strong (and unhealthy) that any nuance of taste is overwhelmed by Nutella. Nutella is the only protagonist wherever you put it. Why don’t you Try to do it with another kind of chocolate?
If you use just a hint of Nutella it will go great. I did it with a thin layer of Nutella.
I know the power of Nutella. I am Italian. It creates addiction. But no dessert can be considered a work of art with Nutella
I do not know how to send you two posts on chocolate, both on WordPress. If interested look for “a tutta proteina” and “cooking strategy n.7” on http://www.awaytowellness.blog
Thank you. I will check it. Here is my chocolate recipe: https://cooking-without-limits.com/2016/01/07/raw-vegan-chocolate/

Enjoy💋
It would be better to use bar of chocolate over 70% cocoa simply grated on the layers. Then, if you want it more sweet, simply add some coco sugar as it is. It will be great and healthier. Are you ok with your weight?
When you use bar chocolate will become a healthier dessert. You can make a homemade Nutella which is even healthier than a chocolate bar. Homemade Nutella has dates, cocoa, coconut oil and nuts and is very healthy. I am 1,72cm and 58 kg. Sometimes I like to eat a not so healthy Nutella.
Yes, true! I also do a lot of things! Bars are already ok 💋 can you send recipe of phyllo dough? I love peanuts
I don’t have a recipe. I bought my phyllo dough. I am still working to become better in the kitchen
Great proportion!
Baklava. The ultimate dessert, in my opinion. 😍
Hi. That looks very moorish. I just saw a Nutella Christmas tree made with sweet bread in a Finnish magazine. I wonder, if someone would like to try this in the shape of a Christmas tree.
Nutella is great for those things. You can put it anywhere easily
Or Easter Wreath
This looks yummy. I have seen and heard about baklava for the first time. What’s a phyllo dough? Is it the same as the puff pastry sheers we get at the supermarket?
Thanks for sharing the recipe 😊
Phyllo dough is tissue-thin sheets of dough that have very little fat.
Thanku 😊 It is different than the puff pastry sheets. I will be looking for it next time I am at the grocery store 😊
You are welcome
You would better publish how to make phyllo dug! That is the quality of the recipe! How do you make it?
i wish I knew how to do it. I am not a chef, I am just a mom cooking. When I will do it I will present the recipe.
Could you send me a picture of the ingredients?
Do you make it with which flour? Oil or butter? Milk? White egg? I learnt as I was a Chils the “squishy chocolate log” from and English recipe with white egg, flour and milk. Simply great
That sounds great! I will try to make in the future phyllo dough.

Delicious, I wish I had some for after dinner!

My husband would love this and son is mad about Nutella. Both of them are on a diet though so it will have to wait. I don’t like peanut butter but guess I could replace it with smashed hazelnuts or something. In England we call if filo pastry and it’s freely available. I must get creative. You are inspiring me.
Thank you. I have a version without the peanut butter:
