Baked potatoes with yogurt

In the previews post I showed you how I took this photo in low light: Shooting in ow light. Imagine that I decided to cook in the afternoon and tried to make something with what I had in the fridge. I was surprised at the end, because my potatoes were very tasty and of course very easy to do.

Ingredients:

  • 1kg potatoes
  • 200ml homemade yogurt
  • Cedar cheese
  • Olive oil
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Oregano

Directions:

Heat the oven at 200 degrees C. Cut the potatoes in thin slices and arrange them in a baking tray. Rub the potatoes with olive oil with a pastry brush. Bake for 30 minutes.

In a bowl mix the eggs, cheese and yogurt. Add salt, pepper and oregano.

After the potatoes are baked for 30 minutes add the mix on top of them with a spoon. Baked for another 10-15 minutes.

I served it hot with red chili jam on top. It was great. Enjoy!

    1. Your comment made me chuckle. It really is a shame we can’t download food; but, then again, the fun is also in the process 😉

      1. I know..just sometimes especially where I live I can’t get a lot of things and when I really fancy it..Now! I just wish we could…lol

  1. Good morning. This dish looks like a “gratin dauphinois” but more healthy because you don’t put sour cream. I will try it and let you know how it came out.
    Un baccione. Arrivederci!
