In the previews post I showed you how I took this photo in low light: Shooting in ow light. Imagine that I decided to cook in the afternoon and tried to make something with what I had in the fridge. I was surprised at the end, because my potatoes were very tasty and of course very easy to do.
- 1kg potatoes
- 200ml homemade yogurt
- Cedar cheese
- Olive oil
- 2 eggs
Heat the oven at 200 degrees C. Cut the potatoes in thin slices and arrange them in a baking tray. Rub the potatoes with olive oil with a pastry brush. Bake for 30 minutes.
In a bowl mix the eggs, cheese and yogurt. Add salt, pepper and oregano.
After the potatoes are baked for 30 minutes add the mix on top of them with a spoon. Baked for another 10-15 minutes.
I served it hot with red chili jam on top. It was great. Enjoy!

I will certainly give this a try this week. I’ve got all the required ingredients at home.
This could go as well, for other vegetables, cottage cheese or sausages/salami. Thanks a lot!
This is a new way to make potatoes, there are so many versions and this one is a new one for me 🙂

Looks tempting. I’ll try to make it with sweet potatoes, non-dairy prostokvasha, and nutritional yeast. Will report to you if anything comes out of it!

Your comment made me chuckle. It really is a shame we can’t download food; but, then again, the fun is also in the process 😉

Looks delicious! Something that is out of my reach. Creating decent looking food! Haha! Great job!
Good morning. This dish looks like a “gratin dauphinois” but more healthy because you don’t put sour cream. I will try it and let you know how it came out.
Un baccione. Arrivederci!
Your blog is so inspiring
