Coffee. Who doesn’t like it? I start drinking coffee last fall. Till last year, I thought coffee had a bad taste without sugar and milk, but I loved the smell of fresh grounded beans. Strange, wright? I had twice coffee when I was a student and I didn’t like it. Now, I love it. It makes me sleep instead of keeping me awake but I love the taste. I don’t know what happen to me, but I like this new me.
When I feel that I am getting a cold I drink spicy coffee. It’s a recipe that I made to keep the sneezing and the coughing away.
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon Turmeric
- 1 tablespoon Chili flakes
- 1 tablespoon Ginger powder
- 1 tablespoon Cinnamon
Directions:
Mix all in a jar. When you want to have a spicy coffee take ½ teaspoon of the mix and add it with the coffee. Enjoy!
Kahawa masala! We had this coffee when we lived in Africa… together with lots of sugar…Wow! And the same but tea. ..chai masala,
Nice! I didn’t know that. But I don’t put sugar in it.
Def. much better😊
The thought of coffee alone makes me crazy. Each time I smell coffee I fee the wonders of nature.
Sounds interesting, would never have tried it but this seems like an interesting mix.

Ive tried many variations, but never with Turmeric. Interesting flavor combination.

Yummy! I love spice, so adding it to coffee sounds super good! 😊
Cinnamon is the best coffee additive in my book. Not just for Christmas time
Sounds great – I’ll have to try it and really nice for a cool night in the campervan! Thank you for all your inspiring ideas.

Another great idea from Cooking Without Limits. I might be tempted to try this with some frothy milk which I make in the van with a battery-operated, milk frother https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ventuci-VENTUCI-Premium-Milk-Frother/dp/B01M4QIK4B/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1494235615&sr=8-12&keywords=hand+whisk+battery

The next time I feel a cold coming on, I’m all over this! Thanks for the cool post. I image this spice blend would work with tea as well, but I’m very curious to try it in coffee.
Goes well with tea too. I just had one spicy coffee this morning. Hot and spicy.
Yum! I like the idea for spice 🙂
Sounds similar to the coffee we had at an Ethiopian restaurant. It was like chai they serve in coffee shops here, but coffee instead of tea.

I can’t wait to try your coffee recipe. If you are a hyper active person like ADHD, coffee will have the opposite affect on you. I am and also I worked with foster kids and the doctors told me that coffee would help to calm them down in the mornings and make it easier for them to study. Who knew? ☕️
Thank you for your information
