Roasted turkey legs

Happy New Year!

I hope you had an amazing year and I wish you an amazing new one, too. I told you that 99% of my photos are with a Nikon camera. The photos in this post are with a Nokia 8. When I did this recipe I didn’t have my Nikon camera so I had to use my phone.

In my kitchen was dark so the photos are not great but the recipe is. I think this recipe is a universal one for roasted turkey.

Ingredients:

  • Turkey legs
  • Salt
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • Water
  • Pepper
  • Chili pepper
  • Garlic (crushed)

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees C (350 degrees F). Rub each leg with butter. In a bowl mix salt, pepper, chili pepper and garlic. Rub each leg with the mix. Put the legs in a pan.

Roast uncovered for 1 ½ to 2 hours, until the legs are golden brown and the internal temperature is 82 degrees C (180 degrees F). Add more water if needed roasted and baste from time to time with the juices from the pan.

Serve it with salad or mash potatoes. Enjoy!
