Baked donuts with chocolate

Donuts! Donuts! Donuts!

Healthy or not we all love donuts. They could be simple, with chocolate or gem, we all need donuts in our life. I always tried to eat as healthy as possible especially for my kid. When they are little they need good examples in their life.

This time I tried baked donuts. Along with the normal donuts I baked a few in the oven to see how they will turn up. I was impress. They are healthy and taste great in the same time.

I add some chocolate on top so will look great and sprinkle some coconut on top.

Preheat the oven at 200 degrees Celsius.

You can find the recipe for donuts here.

You have a fresh batch of donuts on your table. Put them on a tray where you put a baking sheet in it. Put them in the oven and bake them for 15 – 17 minutes. Let them cool for 5 minutes and then you can take them out of the baking tray.

You can add chocolate, gem or other topping.

Enjoy!

  1. OH these look amazing! will try that for my playgroup in the next few weeks! Always stayed away from donuts because I had to deep fry them, never thought about baking them in the oven! Thank you for sharing!

  2. On FB a friend was in conversation with someone about Doughnut Day, Nov 5, during which they nixed a very popular, cross Canada Doughnut hole (IMO), and a Thai place was suggested. Another town so I could not suggest anywhere. However, I did try to recall if I had Thai style Doughnuts when I visited – I did. Similar to China and Vietnam – no perfect middle hole but oh, so much better when right out of the street vendor’s hot wok!
