Summer drinks

lemonade

We had a wave of heat for a few days which killed me. I am not a big fan of the heat, so I had to do something to get me fresh all through the day. It is a simple recipe, healthy and makes  your day easy to  survive.

Ingredients:

– 1 litter water

– 2 lemons

– 5 strawberries

– 5 mint leaves

lemonade

Directions:

Add the fruits and the mint in the water. Keep the water in the fridge or use ice. Make it 3 hours before serving. Enjoy!

  1. I’m a simple man with simple needs, any good congac Hennessy premier V.S.O,P. Or X,O. Or Courvoisier V.S.O.P or X.O OR D’USSE V.S.O.P and I’m set to go as long as it’s in a long brandy snifter, I’ve even made a big kettle full of Sangria for all our friends or dropins during the beach walk. I just keep them away from the Congac. Haha

  2. Every time I stop by here, there is always an amazing recipe. As a foodie, I always want to try them all. Now you’ve given me one more recipe to try. So many recipes, so little time! But I’ll set my mind to it and do it. Thanks for being so supportive of my budding blog. It means so much to me. Do stop by my blog, I can’t keep away from yours.

  3. good one! strawberry, mint, and lemon! we’ve been having 109 degree days here in Tucson so I am always looking for ways to make staying hydrated easier. i’ve done variations of this for rushed mornings by adding the fruit directly to my glass water bottle to take with me.

  4. Great recipe & photos – just what we need in London, UK as we hit a record of 36.7 degrees Celsius yesterday. I have lots of strawberries left over from my July 4 Star Spangled Dessert – Red, White & Blue Eton Mess. I also grow mint on my patio, so will be making this later. Thanks for liking the recipe on taste2taste.com. Watch this space as we will be posting a British classic drink for July 4 tomorrow.
