Smoked Salmon Spread: A Versatile Delight

Who doesn’t love smoked salmon? It’s healthy, festive, and tastes absolutely amazing.

I’m a big fan and try to enjoy it 2–3 times a week. My favorite way to eat it is in a smoked salmon spread because of its incredible versatility! You can serve it on a cucumber slice, a bagel, toast, crostini, with celery, or even inside a croissant. Isn’t it wonderful?

I often make this spread for parties. It looks fancy and trendy, and my guests are always delighted!

🥣 The Recipe This recipe yields a rich, flavorful spread that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients:

1 cup cream cheese, softened

¼ cup sour cream

¼ cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

¼ teaspoon Tabasco sauce

100g smoked salmon, roughly chopped

Salt to taste

Directions:

Combine the cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice and Tabasco in a food processor fitted with the metal blade. Pulse until the mixture is fully blended and smooth.

Add the smoked salmon. Pulse just until the salmon is finely chopped and incorporated—be careful not to over-process.

Taste the mixture and add salt as needed. Serve as a dip with crackers or bagel chips, or as a spread on bagels. I personally love serving it with warm croissants!

📝 Tips for Making Ahead This spread can easily be made a few days ahead of time. However, it gets quite firm in the refrigerator, so be sure to let it sit out at room temperature for about 30 minutes before serving. This will make it much easier to scoop and spread.
