There is nothing like a glass of cold lemonade on a hot summer day. Unless has some vodka in it. I love a good summer cocktail. If it is healthy is a bonus.
As told you in a post we make pine needle syrup in the spring and my husband make pine needle vodka.
This cocktail is the perfect balance for the hot summer day.
The same lemonade, without vodka can help the kids stay hydrated throughout the day.
Once you have the pine needle syrup in the fridge, you can play around and make cocktails for your guests. It takes you 10 minutes the most.
Ingredients:
- Ice
- 100ml fresh lemon juice
- 500ml water
- 50ml pine needle syrup
- 100ml vodka
- Blueberries
Directions:
In a shaker filled with ice, combine lemon juice, pine needle syrup and vodka. Shake well.
Pour cocktail into a bottle and the blueberries and pine needle for decorations.
When you serve the cocktail, decorate the glasses with blueberries, lemon or pine needles.
Enjoy!
This is different . I am not a vodka drinker but this sounds delicious . Would it work with other alcohol like rum or tequila or have you only tried it with vodka?
Goes great with rum too.
That is such a neat idea!
Thank you

Sounds interesting, but I’m concerned about the garnish. I’m glad your pine syrup link has the spruce. I’d use rosemary or stick with your other suggestions to be safe :}).
Wow this looks very refreshing!
