Soya and pea stew

Pea and soya stew

This is a quick second course for vegetarians and vegans and an excellent source of vegetable proteins. The recipe is very easy and is great for the less experienced cooks.

Ingredients:

  • 200g soya chunks
  • 400g canned peas
  • 1 cup vegetable stock
  • 1 onion
  • Olive oil
  • 1 cherry tomato sauce can
  • 1 garlic glove
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon mustard

Directions:

Boil the soya chunks till they are done as indicated on the bag. Chop the onion and the garlic. In a pan add olive oil and sauté the onion and the garlic. Add the soya chunks, the peas, and the vegetable stock. Let it simmer for 5 minutes. Add the mustard, cherry tomato sauce, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for another 5 minutes.

Enjoy!

  1. Good morning. This is a great recipe for our stressful times. The more we live, the more vegetarian we should become. That is the secret of longevity for many cultures, including the Buddhists.
    Un baccioone. Arrivederci.

  2. The Xiaomi phones look so cool! I would have gotten one if I could get signal where I live. Your soup looks tasty.
