Mushrooms with sour cream

I eat those mushrooms since I was a child. You need a lot of mushrooms to make a meal out of them, so when you find them in the forest, all you can think is what to make with them. So, the one great recipe is mushrooms and sour cream. Yummy!

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg Ramaria botrytis mushrooms (chopped)
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tea spoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Water

Directions:

In a bowl put the chopped mushrooms with water. Water should be a little over the mushrooms. Let them boil 10 – 15 minutes. Add water if needed.  Add salt, pepper, half of parsley and sour cream. Let it boil for another 10 minutes. Served hot and sprinkle with the remaining parsley. Enjoy!

  1. I have eaten these for many years as well – sometimes the simple things are the most comforting. We called it lazy stroganoff. It is delish served over polenta.
