I love waffles soooo much! I adapted the recipe for waffles and add carob powder and agave syrup. My little one doesn’t see the difference, so is good to cut the white sugar from your life, eat healthier.
- 250g Flour (plain)
- 7g Baking powder
- 3 tablespoons carob powder
- 2 tablespoon agave syrup
- 5g Salt
- 475ml Milk
- 3 Eggs
- 3 tablespoon melted butter
Place all the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Break the eggs into the milk and beat the mixture.
Add the egg and milk mixture to the dry ingredients. Add the butter and mix all ingredients together until all the large lumps have been broken up. Do not over mix otherwise the waffles will be heavy when cooked.
Pre heat the waffle maker and spray with oil.
Pour 3/4 of a cup of batter into the waffle maker and cook for 3-4 mins or until crispy on the outside.
Serve hot with maple syrup, agave syrup, honey or peanut butter. I like it with fresh fruits or dried fruits.
