The United Nations designated March 22nd as World Water Day in 1993. World Water Day is about actions to combat the water crisis.
World Water Day is supported all around the globe. The theme for 2017 is “Why waste water?” and is about reducing the wastewater. We all can do that. Guy Ryder, Chair of UN-Water says:
“Do what you can, do it with others, and do it with passion”
