As you will see in the photos, you can use different props for the same food. In my examples, I have a mushroom risotto and I use lots of props to make many different photos. This is the best exercise you can do to start learning about styling and props. Play around with everything you have.
Leave the same settings and just change the background or the props. I had natural light coming from the right side and I had a wooden background. I took a lot of photos from different angles and with different props. Later on, you can analyze them and learn.
Keep taking photos!
Great pictures. Beautiful presentation! ◔‿◔

You are absolutely right.
A different setting can give a completely different mood, using the same subject.
I’m still working on it, but in most of cases the will to eat the food before it cools down wins on taking the right time to take a proper photo 😀 with sweets it’s easier, I can take that time, but with hot meals I too often do it too fast 🙂
wow! such a cool post. love the different perspective with all the props, but the same food – brilliant to see!
Thank you
Great concept!
