Semolina porridge

I have a little angel of 6 months and a half now, so 2 months ago I started diversification. One of the food I give to him is semolina porridge which is great for him. Semolina porridge is fast and easy to cook and can be eaten by adults also. For adults, you can add bitter cherry jam, which goes great with this recipe or any sweet or bitter sauce or jam. I grew up with semolina porridge and every time I eat it, I remember about my great childhood.

Ingredients:

200 ml milk

1 and 1/2  tablespoon semolina

1 and 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar or 1 teaspoon honey

Directions:

In a pot put the milk to boil with sugar and when it starts boiling add semolina little by little and stir to avoid formation of lumps. Let it cook for 20 minutes and then put it on a plate. for adults can be served hot or cold with different sauces. I prefer bitter cherry jam with it. for kids, serve it cold and no jam. Enjoy.
