This is a dessert common in Romania. My mom used to make it all the time during the strawberries season. You need fresh ones for this dessert. It’s so easy to make and ready in just 15 minutes. It’s good for kids and adults. For special guests or uninvited guests.
Ingredients
300 g strawberries
50 g caster sugar
142 ml double cream
Directions
In a blender or food processor, process strawberries until smooth. In a large bowl put the strawberries , sugar and double cream and mix it all together. When is done, put them in glasses and refrigerate or served on the spot. Enjoy!

Yes. My favorite is with strawberries , but goes great with cherries, all wild berries, sour cherries , peaches, pears and so on…
In the US is double cream like heavy whipping cream or is it like double devonshire cream?
You can use heavy whipped cream or even sour cream. If you use sour cream is a little less fatty. I love it also with sour cream. Try it both and see.
